LUISA SULLIVAN | COUNSELLOR & CREATIVE ARTS IN THERAPY PRACTITIONER

Our lives can sometimes be thrown off balance, by something unexpected. Leaving us confused with feelings and emotions, which can be daunting, and cause difficulty understanding how we move forward. Life can begin to feel overwhelming. As a Person Centred counsellor I offer a safe space, for you to explore and understand your feelings and emotions, at your own pace.

My journey through counselling began in 2010, gaining valuable experience with Victim Support.org. Supporting victims and witnesses of crime, through the judicial process at Uxbridge Magistrates Court. I have worked with people from a diverse and varied range of social, cultural, religious and educational backgrounds helping them through many  life events, traumas and crisis.

I am a Person Centred counsellor who incorporates CBT skills and Creative Arts in Therapy into my practice. Being able to use sand tray therapy, creative art materials, colour, and puppetry in therapeutic work can assist in unravelling emotional feelings often a client is unable to verbalise. I currently volunteer therapeutic services to Hillingdon Mind, Metropolitan Police  and Victims First Counselling Services, part of PCC commissioning through Thames Valley Police. I am registered and governed by the BACP.
